Devanshi Jagota

Devanshi Jagota is an amateur photographer, artists and an aspiring architect from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She is drawn to capture the simplicity in beautiful moments spent in nature through digital and analog photography, and digital art.

Devanshi's love for photographing landscapes, mountains and colourful architecture is captured during her time at home in Newfoundland and her travels abroad, while living in Denmark and Norway. It is easy to say, she continues to move where the mountains take her.

Devanshi started her landscape photography journey by taking photos on her iPod for many years, inspired by the scenery around Newfoundland, until she received her current camera SONYa7II - a gift by her dad for Christmas. Her work ranges from landscape, portrait, event, and documentary photography.

Devanshi had the opportunity to become part of Newfoundland and Labrador Government's art collection under The Rooms. She worked with her former university, Toronto Metropolitan University, for architecture event photography and social media photography. Her digital art was also selected to be painted on a Traffic box in St. John's. Some of her work can be found hanging in homes and rentals around the globe. Devanshi finds inspiration in collaborating with local community and brings her design eye whenever possible.
